Born in Gaffney, he was the husband of Robin Thompson Horne and son of Calvin Lee Horne and Maggie Skipper Horne of Gaffney. He was employed in the textile industry and was of the Pentecostal faith.

      Patricia Annette Caldwell, 60, of Eastview Drive passed away Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008, at her residence. Ms. Caldwell was born in Charlotte, N.C., to the late Amy Maybelle Batchelor Caldwell. A 1967 graduate of Chapman High School, she was former head of the chemistry department at Upstate Carolina Medical Center and was Employee of the Year there in 1991. Ms.
