A 36-year-old Gaffney man died Saturday night while hunting in Cherokee County. Shannon Lincoln Hamrick of 305 Hampton Blvd. was coon hunting with two friends when he was found unresponsive at 9:20 p.m. Cherokee County Coroner Dennis Fowler said Hamrick was found in a wooded area about a half mile off Quarter Round Road. There are few guarantees when it comes to passing a test. The Cherokee County Adult Education program will offer a guarantee when it gives the official practice GED on Saturday, Oct. 15. 2-year-old run over SPARTANBURG — Authorities charged a Spartanburg County man of driving drunk when he ran over his 2-year-old son in the driveway and injured him. Police charged 33-year-old Clay West of Pacolet with felony driving under the influence and child endangerment. More...
