Kenneth Proctor, 71, of 407 Whittier St. NW., Washington, D.C,, husband of Dorothea Proctor, passed away Sunday, Sept. 28, 2008, in Washington.

Son of the late Deacon P.A. Proctor and the late Velmay Hogue Proctor, he was a native of Spartanburg County.

Also surviving are two children, Jan Proctor and Bonnie Proctor of Washington, D.C.; three brothers, Deacon Willie Proctor of Gaffney, Gus Proctor (Bonnie) of Oden, Md., and James Proctor (Vickie) of Upper Marlboro, Md.; four sisters, Frances Houze of North Chicago, Ill., Marcelene Dewberry, the Rev. Omigene Proctor and Elizabeth Williams (John), all of Cowpens; and three grandchildren, Bersia, Marie and Ofuwaseyi.

Services will be held Saturday, Oct. 4, at Latney's Funeral Home, 3831 Georgia Avenue N., Washington, D.C. 20011. (202) 882-2455.
