      Blacksburg celebrated homecoming with plenty of big plays in a 35-12 victory Friday over Dixie. The fireworks started on the first play when Josh Elmore hit a streaking Chris Hames down the sidelines for a 56- yard touchdown off a flea flicker pass. Rashad Earls, Blacksburg's Mr. Versatility, completed the 2-point conversion pass to Hames.

      The Limestone men's soccer team defeated Conference Carolinas foe Barton College 5-2 on Saturday afternoon at Saints Field. Limestone climbs to 4-1-1 in Conference Carolinas play (9-1-1 overall). Limestone outshot Barton 13-2 in the first period.

Limestone inducts 4 into Hall of Fame

      Limestone College inducted four former athletes into its Hall of Fame on Saturday. Chris Campbell, Harmony Noda, Michael Purdy, and Tracy Sanders are the newest members of the Limestone College Athletics Hall of Fame. Chris Campbell graduated from Limestone in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in physical education. He played for the Saints lacrosse team from 1998- 2001.
