Former Gaffney star linebacker Rocky McIntosh had five tackles in Washington's 23-17 victory over Philadephia Sunday.

Benna's to sponsor golf tourney

Benna's Sports Club will hold the Bridgette Lister Cancer Golf Tournament benefit on Oct. 10 at 8:30 a.m. The second annual event will be held at The Creek golf course at Camp Croft. Limstone sweeps Lees-McRae

Limestone volleyball defeated Lees-McRae in three sets, (25-12, 25-19, 25-22) to even their record to 9-9 and 6-2 in the conference on Saturday. The victory coincides with the Lady Saints' "Dig for a Cure" to raise funds for the Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Limestone was led defensively by Brooke England with 15 digs, followed closely by Chelsea Anthony, Nina Milovanovic, Danielle Seibert and Holli Dawson with 9 each.
