WALKING FOR A CURE — It was a bit cool outside, but not too much for local senior citizens to walk a few laps for a good cause at the Senior Centers of Cherokee County as they participated in a Memory Walk Friday. Participants raised funds for research in hope of finding a cure for Alzheimer's disease. One in eight adults over the age of 65 have Alzheimer's disease.
