FLORENCE - Nora Theresa Downey Yearwood, 51, of 1324 Syracuse St., Darlington, passed away Monday, Oct. 6, 2008, at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.

A former resident of Gaffney, she was the wife of Randall "Randy" Yearwood and daughter of Nora Myrtle Lynch Downey and the late Billy Willard Downey.

Surviving, along with her husband and mother, are two daughters, Chrystal Hayes of Darlington and Jackie Bolin of Gaffney; a son, Larry Shayne Bonds of Darlington; five grandchildren; two sisters, Ruthie D. Dennis and Penny Lamb, both of Darlington; and a brother Billy C. Downey of Pageland. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Yearwood was preceded in death by her father and her sister, Pamela Diane Downey.

Visitation will be held at the home of her daughter, Jackie Bolin, 746 Marietta St., Gaffney, on Wednesday, Oct. 8, and services will be held in the chapel of Shuford-Hatcher Funeral Home at Frederick Memorial Gardens on Thursday, Oct. 9, at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Frederick Memorial Gardens.
