Blacksburg library to host 'Music Sandwiched-In" concert

Guitarist Tom Fisch to perform at library's first fall music event

The Blacksburg Public Library will host the first fall "Music Sandwiched-In" concert of 2008 on Thursday Oct. 16, from 12:15-1 p.m, featuring guitarist Tom Fisch.

Fisch has written songs for the Oak Ridge Boys, James Taylor and Dan Fogleberg.

He has lived in Nashville and has also recorded with the Oakridge Boys and country singer Erica Arnold.

In 2004 Fisch relocated to Western North Carolina.

Born and raised in Albany, N.Y., Fisch started playing the guitar when he was 10 years old and has been playing for the last 30 plus years. Whether he is performing for a large audience in an auditorium, outdoors at a festival, or in front of a small crowd, his audiences are taken with his stellar musicianship and warm, engaging personality he brings to the stage.

For more information, call the Blacksburg library at 839-2630.
