Bobby Clary

SPARTANBURG - Bobby Burwell Clary, 73, of 340 Cedar Springs Road, formerly of Gaffney, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2008, at Mountainview Nursing Home.

Born in Gaffney, he was the son of the late Lee Clary and Jessie Turner Clary. He was retired from the textile industry and a member of West End Baptist Church.

He is survived by a sister, Sue Clary Wright of Gaffney; two nephews, Mark Wright and wife, Cristina, of Cowpens and Wally Clary and wife, Linda, of Gaffney; and a niece, Susan Sarratt and husband, Darryl, of Gaffney.

Mr. Clary was preceded in death by two brothers, Wallace Clary and John Willard (Sonny) Clary.

The family will receive friends Saturday, Oct. 18, from 12:30-1:45 p.m. at Blakely Funeral Home. Graveside services will immediately follow at 2 p.m. at Frederick Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Rodney Cook officiating.

The family is at the home of Sue Clary Wright, 119 Stacy Drive, Gaffney.
