Faye J. Williams

Faye Elizabeth Johnson Williams, 74, of Brookview HealthCare Center, passed away Sunday, Oct. 19, 2008, at 8:45 a.m. at Brookview. She was formerly married to the late Virgil Williams.

Daughter of the late Clarence Johnson and the late Eva Belle Rice Johnson, she was born May 23, 1934, in Gaffney and was preceded in death by three brothers, Deacon David Johnson, Clarence Johnson and Paul Johnson; and a sister, Anna Johnson.

She was a member of Limestone Missionary Baptist Church, a graduate of Granard High School and retired from Brookview HealthCare Center after 17 years of service.

She is survived by two sons, Virgil Williams Jr. and Kevin Williams of Flint, Mich.; four daughters, Roxanne Williams, Brenda Williams, Cynthia Williams and Sandra Williams; seven grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren and other relatives.
