Reverlee S. King

BLACKSBURG - Reverlee Sutson King, 64, of 336 Wilbur St., wife of Bob King, passed away Sunday, Oct.19, 2008, at 6:05 a.m. at Upstate Carolina Medical Center.

Daughter of the late Laura Sutson Gaston and the late Ralph Friday, she was born on May 16, 1944, in Cherokee County. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Morgan. She was a member of Trinity A.M.E. Zion Church of Blacksburg, where she was a member of the Morning Choir, Pastor's Aid Board and chairperson of the Supply Department.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Lindale King and Marcus King, both of Gaffney; three daughters, Traci King Peeler of Cowpens, Roxanne King of Blacksburg and Lavette King of Gaffney; two sisters, Ophelia Praziel and Annie Lorene Burris, both of Blacksburg; eight grandchildren; and a host of other relatives.

Arrangements will be announced later by Foster Funeral Home, Gaffney.
