Robin Gaffney-Wyatt, 51, of 902 Lyman St., went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2008, at Upstate Carolina Medical Center.

Born in Gaffney, she was the wife of Gene Wyatt and daughter of the late Floyd Gaffney Jr. and Barbara Patrick Allison. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Rick Pennington and wife, Paige, of Blacksburg and Chris Wyatt of Union; a daughter, Gina Blanton and husband, Robbie, of Blacksburg; four grandchildren, Lucas Blanton, Sylvia Blanton, Hannah Pennington and Ethan Pennington; two brothers, Michael Gaffney of Chesnee and Donnie Allison of Myrtle Beach; five sisters, Debra Gaffney, Angie Gaffney, Sharon Knox, all of Gaffney, Crystal Bulman of Roebuck, and Lisa Moss of Michigan; and a special cousin, Tanya Moss of Gaffney.

The family will receive friends Friday, Oct. 24, from 2- 3:30 p.m. at Blakely Funeral Home. Services will immediately follow at 3:30 p.m. in the chapel with Mr. Ashby Blakely officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Chris Bonds, Scott Auton, John Shackleford, Kelly Little, John Crocker and Ricky Pennington.
