Mary Lou Harder

Mary Louise Obermiller Harder, 73, of 210 Mountain Laurel Trail, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Born in Dover, Ohio, she was the wife of Ralph Harder and daughter of the late Louis Obermiller and Beathildas (Bea) Jergens Obermiller. Mrs. Harder was a waitress at House of Pizza and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mary Lou was a very loving, giving and charitable person.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Steve Harder and wife, Jill, of Strasburg, Ohio, Doug Harder and wife, Karen, of Gaffney and Brad Harder and wife, Cindy, of Boiling Springs; two daughters, Debra Harder of Gaffney and Rachelle (Shelley) Keelan and husband, Doug, of Charlotte, N.C.; a foster child, Linda Mathias of Dublin, Ohio; a brother, Jim Obermiller and wife, Mary (Pete), of Summerdale, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Nicholas Harder, Laci Harder, Dusty Harder, Taylor Luker, Will Harder, Cierra Keelan, Brianna Keelan and Josh Mathias.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Harder was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Bietzel.

Services will be Tuesday, Oct. 28, at 2 p.m. in Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Frederick Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Monday, Oct.27, from 6-8 p.m. at Blakely Funeral Home.
