Edward Pennington and Heather Rains Pennington announce the birth of their daughter, Paris Sydnee, on Oct. 1, 2008, in Upstate Carolina Medical Center weighing 6 lbs. 14 ozs.

Maternal grandparents are Wayne and Bobbie Jo Bolin of Gaffney and Scott Rains and Katie Thomas of Gaffney. Paternal grandparents are Carol Pennington, Tom Pennington and Althea Thompson, all of Gaffney.

Maternal great-grandparents are Roger and Cathy Bolin and Diane Richards, Raymond and Renia Rains and Betty Jo Benton and Vernon (Pinto) Scates. Paternal great-grandparents are Billy and Grace Allen and Wilma and the late Roland Pennington.
