Authorities ask for assistance in locating missing woman

YOUNG YOUNG The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's assistance in locating a missing North Carolina woman.

Tecora Young, 77, of Caribou Road, Asheville, N.C., was last seen Oct. 18. Police said she possibly was driving a dark green 2002 Buick Century with the South Carolina license plate TWD 6400 on the day of her disappearance.

She is described as 5-feet, 10-inches tall and weighing approximately 200 pounds.
