GHS Class of 1968 enjoyed reuniting at the museum

Dear Editor:

The Gaffney High Class of 1968 enjoyed our 40th class reunion. It was great to be able to visit with classmates you hadn't seen in 10 or 20 years. We had classmates who came from near and far.

We appreciate all the help Billy Pennington and Chris Cline of the Cherokee County History and Arts Museum gave us in making our reunion such an enjoyable evening.

We were glad that we had chosen the museum for our activities. It was fun for those of us who attended Central Elementary School to reminisce in the same cafeteria where we had eaten many lunches and performed in programs.

The Reunion Committee is grateful that Gaffney has the museum available to host various functions of the community. Gaffney can certainly be proud of the museum. We urge you to come visit it if you haven't already done so. Class of '68 Reunion Committee Jane Harmon Betty Roberson Lana Parker Cynthia Tate Shelba Cook Brian Honeycutt Mike Mabry Mike Vinesett
