Nathan and Tanya Hoffman of Gaffney announce the birth of their daughter, Ruby Katherine, on Sept. 30, 2008, in Spartanburg Regional Medical Center weighing 7 lbs. 3 ozs.

Grandparents are Mike and Marcia Melton and Oscar and Dona Hoffman, all of Gaffney.

Maternal great-grandparents are Tommy ("Squeeky") Stepp of Gaffney and Jolene S. Setliff of Rock Hill. Maternal great-great-grandmother is Ruby M. Moss.

Ruby Kate has two big brothers, Tucker and Dawson Hoffman.

Latrice and Courtenay Dawkins announce the birth of their son, Corderian Diontre, on Oct. 27, 2008, in Upstate Carolina Medical Center weighing 8 lbs. 5 ozs.

Maternal grandparents are Howard and Debra Houey of Gaffney. Paternal grandparents are Betty Dawkins of Gaffney and Donald Roseboro of Shelby.
