Workshop leader is talented musician
Alphaeus Anderson Alphaeus Anderson, director of the Pure 'N Heart Ministry, serves as Minister of Music at Mt. Sinai World Outreach Ministry in Spartanburg.
A graduate of Anderson University with a degree in Christian Ministries and minor in Music, he is married to his best friend, the former Alexias Harrison, who makes up their duo.
Anderson, a songwriter and recording artist, has been music director of several live recordings and has written and produced for numerous recording artists. He has served as accompanist at the National Baptist Convention and served as the S.C. State Baptist Convention assistant music director and music team and Children's Rally Choir director. He has served as music director at Anderson College and as worship leader for Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Youth Chapel.
Anderson has toured with several national gospel plays and with "The Rise and Fall of Jim Crow" art exhibition.
Pure 'N Heart now consists of over 250 children ages five to 13 representing churches in South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia.
In 2008, Anderson became the CEO/ and owner of Music2ChangeU Records. He teamed with his brother and saxophonist, Marcus Anderson, to form an instrumental ministry known as Double Vision.
