Jimmy A. Hardin

U.S. Air Force veteran

SMYRNA -- Jimmy Arley Hardin, 77, of 552 Manning Road, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2008, at his home.

Born in Smyrna, Mr. Hardin was the husband of Helen Peterson Hardin of the home and son of the late Finley Edward and Nellie

Martin Hardin. Mr. Hardin was a member

of Nazareth

Baptist Church, worked for Duke Energy for 32 years, and served in the United States Air Force for four years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Jimmy Alan Hardin, Timothy Mark Hardin, both of Blacksburg, and Roger Dale Hardin of the home; a brother, Edward Hardin of Winnsboro; a sister, Mildred Stewart of Rock Hill; one granddaughter and one step-greatgrandson.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Hardin was preceded in death by a son, Craig Hardin, and a sister, Fannie Smith.

Arrangements for Mr. Hardin are incomplete.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Hospice Care of South Carolina, 1612 North Limestone Street, Gaffney, SC 29340.
