Cookbook features recipes of Brookview

Brookview Healthcare Center's employee advisory committee has published its first cookbook, "From Our Family to Yours."

The recipes were collected from residents and submitted by their family members, along with favorites from staff members of the facility.

The cookbook has over 350 very different

and unusual recipes, such as a recipe for Blackberry Wine to a Lowcountry favorite, Rice Purlow.

The cookbooks are $10 each, with all profits going

toward supporting

special events at the facility, such as the Fall Festival that was held last month.
