Boy Scouts have begun food drive

Local Boy Scout troops in Cherokee County will begin their annual "Scouting for Food" drive this weekend.

Scouts put door hangers and bags out in neighborhoods on Nov. 8. They will return on Nov. 15 to bring the bags of food to the collection site at the Meals on Wheels.

Food collected will be distributed to area food banks.
