The incident happened at about 3:30 a.m. Nov. 2 on Annette Street, according to a police report. A resident of the street heard a noise and saw a silver or white flatbed truck with running lights on top of the cab in a front yard before the truck fled the scene.

Police said the truck apparently was headed east on Annette Street when it ran of the right side of the roadway, struck a mailbox before heading through the front lawn of another home, where it struck another mail box and a trash can.

Police said the vehicle then went through another yard, where it struck a parked 1995 Chevrolet, turning the vehicle sideways.

The pickup then ran through another lawn, running over a cable box before coming to rest and the driver leaving the scene.
