Nettie Coyle Horn

Cherokee County native

Nettie Coyle Horn of 231 Mill St., passed away Friday, Nov. 7, 2008, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital in Spartanburg.

Born in Cherokee County, she was the widow of Albert Burton Horn and daughter of the late John Frank and Laura Owensby Coyle. She was a member of Cherokee Avenue Baptist Church and worked at Uptown Long Term Care.

Surviving are a daughter, Rebecca James and husband, Richard, and one grandchild, all of Gaffney.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 3 p.m. at Frederick Memorial Gardens, conducted by Dr. Clyde Thomas. Visitation will immediately follow the service at the graveside.

The family is at the home of Rebecca James, 903 N. Granard St.

Arrangements by Shuford- Hatcher Funeral Home at Frederick Memorial Gardens.
