Lula Smith Harrison
Retired from United Merchants-Buffalo Plant
UNION - Lula Smith Harrison, 85, of Ellen Sagar Nursing Home, widow of Herbert D. Harrison, died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2008. Mrs. Harrison was born in Union on June 10, 1923, a daughter of the late Gist Smith and Jane Smith Smith. She retired from United Merchants Buffalo Plant and attended Fairforest Baptist Church. Surviving are a son, Warren Harrison and wife, Carla, of Gaffney; two grandchildren, April Moore and husband, Jerry, and Josh Harrison, all of Gaffney; and two greatgrandchildren, Jerry Moore III and Jakob Moore. Graveside services were held Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 1 p.m. at Union Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Jerry Lawson. Visitation was held from 12-12:45 p.m. at S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home prior to the graveside service. Family members are at their respective homes. Arrangements by S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home. |
