3Cycle offering free disposal

Saturday, Nov. 15 is America Recycles Day, a national awareness day that started 10 years ago with the mission of raising consciousness about the importance of recycling and encouraging Americans to sign personal pledges about recycling and buying recycled products.

In honor of America Recycles Day, 3Cycle will be offering free disposal of household batteries and compact florescent lamps (CFLs) to Cherokee County residents Monday, Nov. 17, through Wednesday, Nov. 26. Residents may bring their household batteries and CFL bulbs to the 3Cycle office located at 112 Willis Plaza in Gaffney from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

On America Recycles Day and every day, 3Cycle is committed to helping Cherokee County waste less, reuse more and live better, by ensuring that the latest technology and environmental practices are put into action. Throughout the month of November, 3Cycle will be promoting America Recycles Day, so please watch for further announcements.

If you have questions or would like to speak with a representative of 3Cycle, call Emily Brady at: 803-238-4767 or Emily.Brady@cnsg.com.
