Millie Ruppe Reynolds, 76, of 557 Bonner Road, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2008, at her home. Born in Gaffney, she was the wife of A.F. Reynolds and daughter of the late H. H. Ruppe and Ophelia Martin Ruppe. She was a homemaker and member of Cherokee Creek Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Ronald E. Reynolds and wife, Sheila, and Mark S. Reynolds, all of Gaffney; two grandchildren, Lindsey Simmons and husband, Tim, and Kayla Reynolds; and five sisters, Juanita Holder of Mooresboro, N.C., Elaine Atkinson, Dorothy Whisenant and husband, Phillip, Elizabeth Bridges and Iris Jackson and husband, Gene, all of Gaffney. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Reynolds was preceded in death by three brothers, Louis Ruppe, Solon Ruppe and George Ruppe; and a sister, Eloise Humphries. Services will be held Friday, Nov. 14, at 4 p.m. at Cherokee Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Frazier officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation was held Thursday, Nov. 13, from 6-8 p.m. at Blakely Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Cherokee Creek Baptist Church Building Fund, 502 Buck Shoals Road, Gaffney, SC 29341.
