Vanessa Wolfe

Vanessa Lee Wolfe, 27, of 598 Buck Shoals Road, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 12, 2008, at Upstate Carolina Medical Center. Born in Norman, Okla., she was the daughter of Rodney D. Wolfe and Erika Goess Wolfe. She was employed by Pizza Inn and was of the Southern Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she is survived by a daughter, Emily Wolfe of Gaffney; a sister, Samantha Owens and husband, Bradley, of Twenty-nine Palms, Calif.; paternal grandfather, Robert Wolfe of Gaffney; maternal grandmother, Irmgard Goess of Germany; and a nephew, Lukas Owens. Graveside services were held Saturday at 1 p.m. in Cherokee Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Mike Frazier and Ms. Debra Strevel. Memorials may be made to the family in care of Rodney Wolfe, 598 Buck Shoals Road, Gaffney, S.C. 29341.
