Ernest Mosley

Ernest Tillman Mosley, 81, of Brookview Healthcare, formerly of 1118 Filter Plant Road, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Nov. 14, 2008, at Upstate Carolina Medical Center.

Born in Gaffney, he was the widower of Dolleen Roberts Mosley and son of the late Ben Tillman Mosley and Bessie Bolin Mosley. He was retired from Hamrick Mills and was of the Methodist faith.

He is survived by a daughter, Rebecca A. Mosley, of Gaffney and numerous nephews and nieces.

In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Mosley was preceded in death by a brother, Blakley Mosley, and two sisters, Luvercia "Peg" Parris and Gracie Jolly.

Graveside services were held Sunday, Nov. 16, at 2 p.m. in Frederick Memorial Gardens with Mr. Ashby Blakely officiating. Visitation was held from 1-1:45 p.m. at Blakely Funeral Home prior to the service.

The family will be at the residence.
