Teresa Garland

Teresa Frady Garland, 57, of 211 Merrifield Court, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Nov. 17, 2008, at Upstate Carolina Medical Center. Born in Cherokee County, she was the daughter of the late Truman Hull and Annie Lois Frady. She was employed by Hamrick Mills and was of the Southern Baptist faith. She is survived by one daughter, Laura Hatcher and husband, Dale, of Gaffney; two grandchildren, Victoria Hatcher and Amryn Hatcher; a brother, Arthur Frady of Gaffney; a sister, Debbie Kiehl of Cowpens and her fiance', Gary "Dute" Pennington, of Gaffney; and two aunts, Betty Childers and Jenny Bridges. In addition to her parents, Ms. Garland was preceded in death by three brothers, Mike Frady, Gary Frady and Jerry Dean Frady. The family will receive friends Wednesday, Nov. 19, from 6-8 p.m. at Blakely Funeral Home. Services will be held Thursday, Nov. 20, at 2 p.m. in Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Rich Lancaster officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
