Nina Sprouse
Former owner/operator of Sprouse Antiques and Allen Antique
Neva (Nina) Ruth Brown Sprouse, 75, of 174 Brittany Road, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Nov. 23, 2008, at her home. Born in Tompkinsville, Ky., she was the widow of Clarence Allen and Stanley Sprouse and daughter of the late Gum Brown and Pearl Emberton Brown. She was a retired antique dealer with Metrolina Fairgrounds Flea Market and former owner/ operator of Sprouse Antiques and Allen Antiques. She was a member of Poplar Log Baptist Church in Tompkinsville, Ky., and former president of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by two sons, Doyle L. Allen and Steve Allen, both of Gaffney, and a sister, Ruby Hammer of Tompkinsville, Ky. In addition to her husbands and parents, Mrs. Sprouse was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.
