Field hockey coach named at Limestone

Limestone College Director of Athletics Mike Cerino has announced that Lindsay Jackson will be the Lady Saints' head field hockey coach.

Jackson will oversee all aspects of the inaugural program that will begin competition in the fall of 2009.

"We had several very qualified applicants, but Lindsay really stood out," Cerino said. "She's a bright young coach who brings a tremendous amount of energy to the position. We are very excited to have her build the foundation for success for our field hockey program."

Jackson comes to Limestone from St. Andrews Presbyterian College, where she served as the assistant women's lacrosse coach since the fall of 2006. She helped the Knights to one of their best seasons in program history in 2007.
