Jessie L. Davidson

Jessie Littlejohn Davidson, 77, of Lake Ridge, Va., passed away on Sunday, Nov. 23, 2008, at Potomac Hospital in Woodridge, Va.

A native of Cherokee County, she was the wife of Rubin Davidson Jr. and daughter of the late Mayfield Littlejohn and the late Bessie Davis Littlejohn.

She is survived by her husband and six sons, Jerry Davidson of Waldorf, Md., Donald Davidson of Union, Reginald Davidson of Falls Church, Va., Quintin Davidson and Mark Davidson, both of Gaffney, and Zynulene Davidson of Orlando, Fla.; and four daughters, Virginia Davis of Gaffney, Berita Winston of Mont Clair, Va., Tarreyon Davidson of Lake Ridge, Va., and Evangelene Davidson of Dale City, Va.

Services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 2, at 1 p.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church with the Rev. Freddie Davidson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Body will be placed in the church at noon.

The family is at the home of her daughter, Virginia Davis, 325 Hetty Hill Street, Gaffney.
