Brookview residents have 'Spooktacular' Halloween

The Activity Department at Brookview Healthcare Center hosted a Halloween "Spooktacular" on Friday, Oct. 31, with residents and staff participating in a best costume competition. Winners of the resident competition were Ed Fowler and Marie Haney (top left). Staff winners were Jerry Mace as Elvis, Lelia Smith as Elvis and Termite as Jail House Rock (right). Other characters were present, including Dracula and the Tooth Fairy. Howie Hughey, (top right) Brookview's new maintenance director, came dressed as a Knight in Shining Armor. Brookview is now selling cookbooks featuring favorite recipes of the residents and staff to raise funds for future events. To purchase a cookbook, stop by Brookview at 510 Thompson St.; call Mary Klein, 864-489-3101, ext. 53; or email bom.asst.brgas.sc.@palmettoltc.com.
