Aaron Christopher Saunders, 28, of 1377 Ellis Ferry Road, passed away Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008, in Spartanburg Regional Hospital Systems.

Born in Grants, N.Mex., Mr. Saunders was the son of Craig Ray Saunders of Grants, N.Mex., and Cynthia Ball Humphries of the home. He worked as an automotive specialist and was of the Catholic faith.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Saunders is survived by his step-father, Jimmy Humphries, and a brother, Justin Joseph Saunders, both of the home.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Cherokee County Drug and Alcohol Commission, 201 W. Montgomery St., Gaffney, SC 29340.

The family will be at the residence.
