CUMMING, Ga. - Claudia Stowe Moss, 85, of Dunwoody, Ga., formerly of Gaffney, passed away Saturday morning, Nov. 29, 2008, in Cumming.

Mrs. Moss was the widow of Charles Moss and daughter of the late William and Pearl Alice Reid Stowe. Born in Greer, she was a member of Cherokee Avenue Baptist Church and a homemaker for most of her life.

Surviving are a son, Charles Eugene Moss Jr. of Suwanee, Ga.; two grandchildren; and a sister, Rita Grogan of Greenville.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, Dec. 2, from 6-8 p.m. at Shuford-Hatcher Funeral Home at Frederick Memorial Gardens.

Services will be Wednesday, Dec. 3, at 11 a.m. at Cherokee Avenue Baptist Church, conducted by Dr. Clyde Thomas. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery.
