Jessie L. Davidson

LAKE RIDGE, Va. - Jessie Littlejohn Davidson, 77, of 4040 Chetham Way, died Sunday,

Nov. 23, 2008, at Potomac Hospital, Woodridge, Va. A native of Cherokee County, she was the wife of Rubin

Davidson Jr. and daughter of the late Mayfield Littlejohn and the late Bessie Davis Littlejohn. She was a former member of Mount Tabor Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sons, Therome Davidson, Dennis Davidson and Eddie Davidson.

Surviving in addition to her husband are six sons, Jerry Davidson of Waldorf, Md., Donald Davidson of Union, Quentin Davidson, Mark Davidson, both of Gaffney, Reginald Davidson of Falls Church, Va., and Zynulene Davidson of Orlando, Fla.; four daughters, Virginia Davis of Gaffney, Berita Winston of Mont Clair, Va., Tarreyon Davidson of Lake Ridge, Va., and Evangelene Davidson of Dale City, Va.; 24 grandchildren; 31 greatgrandchildren; four greatgreat grandchildren; an aunt, three daughters-in-law; a sonin law; a niece; three nephews; and a host of other relatives.

Services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 2, at 1 p.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church with the Rev. Freddie Davidson officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Body will be placed in the church at noon.

The family is at the home of her daughter, Virginia Davis, 324 Hetty Hill St., Gaffney.
