Lunnie Inez Hopper
MT. HOLLY, N.C. - Lunnie Inez Hopper, 80, of 125 Ben Harkey Lane, passed away Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008, at her home.
Born in Cherokee County, Mrs. Hopper was the widow of J.R. Hopper and daughter of the late Robert E. Lee Patterson and the late Cleo Madora Scates Patterson. She was a member of Springwood Church of God and a homemaker.
Surviving are three sons, Keith Hopper and wife, Lynne, of Mt. Holly, Eddie Hopper and wife, Leslie, of Charlotte and Terry Hopper of Mt. Holly; three daughters, Pamela Jordan of Charlotte, Charleen Duff and husband, Edward, of Gaffney and Lisa Bradshaw and fiancé, Lane Paxton, of Bessemer City, N.C.; a sister, Lucille Harris of Blacksburg; 13 grandchildren, Monica and George Gilbert of Belmont, N.C., Wesley Mundy, Brandon and Sheri Hux, Tiffany Hux, all of Charlotte, Ashley Duff of Gaffney, Jessica and Laura Hopper of Mt. Holly, Lindsey and Kristen Bradshaw of Bessemer City, N.C., and Cayce and Kaley Hopper of Charlotte; and two great-grandchildren, Tanner and Trustin Hux of Charlotte.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hopper was preceded in death by a brother, Floyd Patterson, and two sisters, Dolly Warren and Dorothy Kiser.
Family members are at respective homes.
