Gaffney Garden Club's Holiday House and Church Tour is set for Dec. 13-14

Others pictured are (l-r) Ross Bratton, Linda Bratton, Mike Cobb and Marshall Goforth. Holiday and seasonal decorations were the focal point of the Gaffney Garden Club's November meeting. Hostesses were Beth Martin and Paula Marett.
Matthew McDonald, owner and designer of the Bookshelf Florist and Gifts, presented a program of seasonal and Christmas arrangements. He demonstrated the beauty of taking an ordinary container and transforming it into an extraordinary arrangement using natural elements, keepsake ornaments, greenery and exotic flows.
"Let your own personality show in your arrangements, whether it is in an inexpensive plastic container or a piece of fine crystal," said McDonald.
"Flowers add beauty to the home and send messages to those around us that we care."
The Gaffney Garden Club's Holiday House and Church Tour is set for Saturday, Dec. 13, and Sunday, Dec. 14. The tour will include "A Fantasy of White at the Boggs Home" and the beautifully decorated Park Hill Baptist Church.
"The public is in for a real treat this year with the garden club having two decorated sites," said Marshall Goforth, president of the club. "This is our major fundraiser that supports our community activities and projects."
