MOORESBORO— Liddie "Steve" Morrow Campbell, 85, 3003 Wood Road, passed away at Hospice House of Forest City on Tuesday, Dec. 2.

A native of Rutherford County, she was born to the late George and Annie Toney Campbell. She was retired from Peeler Rug Company and attended Prospect Baptist Church.

Campbell is survived by a son, Douglas Campbell and wife Alice of Rutherfordton; a sister, Loree Campbell of Mooresboro; and a grandson, Josh Campbell.

She is also survived by very special friends, the Bob Peeler family.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Campbell.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5 at Prospect Baptist Church with the Rev. Ernie Cole officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, Dec. 4 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at McKinney-Landreth Funeral Home.
