Beverly Clyde Littlejohn, 72, of 1368 Oak Ridge Road, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008, at Upstate Carolina Medical Center.

Born in Spartanburg, he was the husband of Hilda

Garrett Littlejohn

and son of the late

George Littlejohn and Shirley Pettius Littlejohn. Mr. Littlejohn was retired from the U.S. Marine Corps and a member of New Heights Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Ricky Littlejohn of Spartanburg, Edward Littlejohn and wife, Sonya, of Spartanburg, and J. D. Littlejohn and wife, Donna, of Inman; two stepsons, Michael Carter and wife, Mary Martha, of Goose Creek and Keith Ledford of Seneca; three stepdaughters, Cynthia Knox and husband, Gary, of Gaffney, Pamela Clark of Gaffney and Charmaine Hardin and husband, Charlie, of Chapin; five grandchildren, Lauren Beuhler, April Brannon, Tyler Littlejohn,

Taylor Littlejohn and Pressley Bright; eight stepgrandchildren, Misty Belue, Blake Carter, Kaisha Morgan, Kiara Thomas, Randi Clark, Garrett Taylor, Emily Coleman and Manning Coleman; six great grandchildren; two brothers, Warner Littlejohn and wife, Barbara, of Spartanburg and Lanny Littlejohn and wife, Jan, of Pacolet; and two sisters, Kizzie Bishop of Greer and Drenda Fowler and husband, Donnie, of Greer.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Littlejohn was preceded in death by a brother, Dwayne Littlejohn.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, Dec. 14, at 2 p.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Sidney Norton officiating.

The family will receive friends Saturday, Dec. 13, from 6-8 p.m. at Blakely Funeral Home.
