Ronald Osborne Sr.

COWPENS - Ronald Franklin Osborne Sr., 63, of 112 Catawba St., Apt. B, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008, at his residence.

Born in Lincolnton, N.C., he was the widower of Dawn Patricia Doucette Osborne and son of Raymond Osborne of Columbia and the late Louise Helton Osborne. He was formerly employed by Freightliner and was of the Baptist faith.

Also surviving are two sons, Ronald Franklin Osborne Jr. of Cowpens and R.J. Os-borne and wife, Jessie, of Cowpens; a granddaughter, Sky Patricia Osborne; two brothers, Dennis Osborne of Columbia and Melvin Osborne of Stanley; and a sister, Mary Williams of Stanley, N.C.

In addition to his wife and mother, he was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Memorial services will be held Friday, Dec. 12, at 7 p.m. at Carolina Praise and Worship Center in Grover, N.C., with the Rev. Ronald Hawkins officiating.

The family will be at the residence.
