      Robert Alvin Hancock, 61, of 510 Thompson St., passed away Sunday, Dec.14, 2008. Mr. Hancock was of the Baptist faith and a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. Surviving are a son, Robert Anthony Hancock and wife, Toya, of Mayo; a daughter, Amy Hancock Jones and husband, Todd, of Inman; and seven grandchildren.
