ROEBUCK - Creola Edwards Floyd of 149 Evans Circle entered eternal rest on Thursday, Dec. 18, 2008.
A native of Cherokee County, she was the widow of Ervin Floyd Sr. and daughter of the late William
and Loemma
Burris Edwards. She was a member of Allen Temple CME Church, a graduate of Granard High, attended Clinton Junior College and was retired from United Cloth.
Survivors include two sons, Ervin Floyd Jr. and Ethan Floyd, both of Spartanburg; three daughters, Gail Howell of Greenville, Beverly Floyd- Abdullah and Patina Bailey, both of Spartanburg; four grandchildren who were reared in the home, David Hardy, Joerico Floyd, Porsha Boyce-Floyd, all of Spartanburg, and Dalis Floyd of Greenville; 17 additional grandchildren; and 21 greatgrandchildren.
Services will be held Monday, Dec. 22, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Mt Moriah Baptist Church, 445 S. Church St. Entombment will follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens.
Visitation was held at the home Sunday, Dec. 21.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mrs. Floyd's honor to Dialysis Clinic Inc., 203 Freemont Ave., Spartanburg, S.C. 29303.
