Gaffney High wrestling team captures tournament championship
      The Gaffney High wrestling team accomplished something rare on Saturday - winning a tournament title. The Indians finished in a 3-way tie but captured the Ashbrook Dual championship on a tie-breaker. Brian Sullivan was huge for the Indians, posting a 5-0 mark in the 140 lb. weight class.

Titans secure home-field for playoffs
      The Tennessee Titans wanted to head into the playoffs with a little momentum. Thanks to a dominating performance over the Pittsburgh Steelers, they'll have much more than that. Kerry Collins threw for a touchdown, Chris Johnson and LenDale White ran for a score apiece, and the Titans routed the Steelers 31-14 in a showdown of the AFC's best teams.

Lady Indians improve to 4-1 with win over Boiling Springs
      Kierra Phillips was too much for Boiling Springs to handle on Friday. Phillips finished with 21 points and Keisha Leach added 14 to lead Gaffney to a 48-39 win and season sweep over the visiting Lady Bulldogs. The Lady Indians jumped to a 4-point lead at the end of the first quarter and extended their advantage to 20-14 at the break.
