      Crystal Lynn Pryor of Greenwood and SSG Michael Paul Goforth of Clinton were married at noon on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2008, at Connie Maxwell Baptist Church. The Rev. Dr. Bill Goforth of Bristol, Tenn., the Rev. Scott Smith of Greenwood and the Rev. Jonathan Pryor of Gaffney officiated.

Effort to stop smoking more intense for women
Average weight gain for women who quit smoking is 5 to 10 pounds
      ROCHESTER, Minn. — No evidence can confirm if men or women have more success in efforts to stop smoking. But, according to the December issue of Mayo Clinic Women's HealthSource, women tend to report more intense withdrawal symptoms, including depression, irritability, anxiety, lethargy, a reduced ability to concentrate, and weight changes.

      Meetings Gaffney Masonic Lodge No. 186 meets on the second Tuesday every month at the Masonic Lodge located at 219 E. Floyd Baker Blvd. A meal is served at 6:45 p.m. and the meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. Notices Iron City Ministries in Blacksburg will be closed Jan. 5-9 and reopen Jan. 12.
