Luke Joshua Underwood

Luke Joshua Underwood, 2 months, of 1456 Concord Road, died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2007, at Upstate Carolina Medical Center.

A native of Gaffney, he was the son of David K. Underwood and Nichole Grice of Gaffney.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Adam Underwood of Charlotte and Brandon Karns of Pennsylvania; paternal grandmother, Ann Freese of Charlotte; maternal grandmother, Leslie Grice of Blacksburg; paternal great-grandfather, Robert Freese of Lake Wylie; and maternal great-grandparents, James and Shirley Bennett of Mt. Holly, N.C.

A memorial service will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. in Gordon Mortuary Chapel, with a receiving of friends following until 9 p.m.. Interment will be at a later date at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Charlotte.

The family will be at the residence.
