Milton Wayne Duncan, 55, of 801 8th St., went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Jan. 4, 2008.

Born in Chattanooga, Tenn., he was the husband of Pattie Moore Duncan and son of the late Alvis Milton Duncan and Arvie Marie Goins Duncan. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a retired steel worker. He was of the Apostolic faith.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Derick Samuel Duncan of Gaffney; two brothers, Alvis Wayne Duncan and Bobby Dean Duncan, both of Michigan; a sister, Nellie Marie Stewart, also of Michigan; and two grandchildren, Robert Blake Gibbie and Hannah Marie Duncan.

The family will receive friends today from 12-2 p.m. at Blakely Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. in Frederick Memorial Gardens, conducted by Ashby Blakely.
