Doris K. Bailey Doris K. Humphries Bailey, 96, of 468 Twin Lakes Road, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2008, in Upstate Carolina Medical Center. Born in Gaffney, she was the widow of Charles B. ("Bill") Bailey and daughter of the late Steven Humphries and the late Ida Lucinda Moore Humphries. Mrs. Bailey was a homemaker and the oldest living member of Midway Baptist Church. A former member of Camp Creek Baptist Church, she was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Ann and John Robinson of Rock Hill and Darlene and Morris Timms of Kings Mountain, N.C.; her sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Ann Bailey and Keith C. and Teresa Bailey, all of Gaffney; a daughter-in-law, Janice Bailey, also of Gaffney; nine grandchildren; 11 greatgrandchildren and five greatgreat grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by two sons, Joseph Dwain Bailey and Max G. Bailey. Services will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. at Midway Baptist Church, conducted by the Revs. Vernon Craig and Alan Peeler. Interment will be in Camps Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Body will be placed in the church at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends tonight from 6-8 at Shuford-Hatcher Funeral Home at Frederick Memorial Gardens. At other times the family will be at the home of Don and Ann Bailey, 152 Castlewood Road. Memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels, P.O.
