BLACKSBURG - Johnny Junior Moses, 69, of 201 N. Chester St., died Friday, Jan. 4, 2008, at his residence.

Born July 3, 1938, he was the son of the late Ernest Wesley Moses Sr. and the late Elizabeth Dover Moses. Mr. Moses was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and was a retired textile employee.

Survivors include four brothers, Marvin Moses, James Moses, both of Gaffney, Howard Moses and Ernest Moses, both of Lake Wylie; and five sisters, Louise Love, Wilma Bolin, both of Blacksburg, Dorothy Pruitt of Gastonia, N.C., Annie Mae Ingle of Lincolnton, N.C., and Julie Stewart of Kings Mountain, N.C.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Moses was preceded in death by two brothers, J.D. Moses and Robert Moses, and a sister, Ruby Manning.

Services will be held today at 2 p.m. in Gordon Mortuary Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Chad Wisher. Interment will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation was held Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Gordon Mortuary.

The family is at 258 Jones St., Blacksburg.
