GREENVILLE - Mary Elizabeth ("Lib") Linder, 66, was called home to eternal rest on Friday, Jan. 11, 2008, at 11 p.m. at St. Francis Hospital.

Born Sept. 18, 1941, in Cherokee County, she was the daughter of Hannah J. Linder of Gaffney and the late William Linder. She was a 1959 graduate of Granard High School, 1961 graduate of Denmark Technical College and was retired from Metropolitan Life Insurance Company.

In addition to her mother, she leaves to cherish her memory two brothers, William G. Linder (Ethel) of Bronx, N.Y., and Marion Linder of Gaffney; two sisters, Mildred Linder of Stone Mountain, Ga., and Marilyn Linder of North Augusta, S.C.; an uncle, Goodman Littlejohn (Daisy) of Gaffney; four nieces, a nephew; and a host of greatnieces and great-nephews.

Services will be held Wednesday at 12 p.m. at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Greenville with the Rev. C.S. Sanders officiating. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery in Gaffney.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Denmark Technical College Alumni, Upstate Chapter.
